Nestle SA is among a group of companies including food makers and equity firms that are considering a bid for Hain Celestial, a manufacturer of organic and vegetarian foods. Shares of Hain Celestial rose 2.9 percent in trading yesterday, putting the company’s value at more than $4.2 billion.
