Nestlé ends Nespresso shipments to Russia
March 21, 2022
Nestlé has stopped sending shipments of Nespresso and San Pellegrino to Russia. The consumer packaged goods giant has continued to sell other products in Russia including baby foods, cereals and some pet foods. The company is under pressure to stop doing business in Russia after that country launched an unprovoked war against Ukraine. “We are doing whatever we can in Ukraine and neighboring countries to help alleviate this humanitarian catastrophe,” Nestlé said in a statement. “We are still one of the few active food companies in Ukraine and sometimes even manage to distribute food in Kharkiv.”
