Pizza Hut’s largest franchisee may file for bankruptcy

NPC International, the largest franchisee of Pizza Hut restaurants, missed an interest payment in January that led to two downgrades of its credit rating. The Kansas-based company is considering filing for bankruptcy if it is unable to renegotiate the terms of $800 million in loans from lenders.
