According to Southern Living, Popeyes says it’s here to give away free chicken sandwiches in an effort to ease the “Sunday scaries.” Every Sunday between Aug. 18 and Sept. 8, Popeyes will give out a complimentary chicken sandwich with any order over $10. Orders placed online or through the Popeyes app are eligible for the promotion.

The crispy, batter-fried chicken sandwiches from Popeyes come with mayo and pickles on top and are served on brioche buns. There’s also a variation with spicy mayonnaise available from the fried chicken franchise.
