Purina Cat Chow is celebrating its 60th anniversary by inviting cat lovers across the nation to share their most memorable cat stories. Teaming up with actress and singer Mandy Moore for the “60 Years. 60 Stories” Contest, Cat Chow aims to collect personal stories highlighting the meaningful impact cats have on people’s lives. The selected stories will be compiled into a book titled “60 years, 60 stories: Celebrating the Extraordinary Impact of Cats,” available for pre-sale on October 31.
As part of the contest, storytellers will have a chance to win a year’s supply of Cat Chow, and the Grand Prize winner will receive a cash prize of $10,000. Proceeds from the book sale will be donated to Pet Partners, a nonprofit organization supporting therapy animal teams and initiatives like the Read with Me™ program to help children build literacy skills. Purina Cat Chow will also donate an additional $60,000 to Pet Partners to promote the therapeutic and emotional benefits of cats.
