Safeway Comes Up with Stimulus Plan

Safeway has joined the growing list of retailers offering to help consumers make their tax rebate checks go farther. The company announced it would cash stimulus checks for free and give consumers a 10 percent discount on goods purchased on that or the following day, as well.
