U.S. senators Richard Blumenthal and Bob Menendez have sent a letter to Jeff Bezos asking him to explain how his company determines products it designates with an “Amazon’s Choice” badge. “We are concerned the badge is assigned in an arbitrary manner, or worse, based on fraudulent product reviews,” the senators wrote.
