Shoe brand pursues growth with on-demand sneakers

Bucketfeet, a footwear brand based in Chicago, says it can now manufacture and deliver customized sneakers in 10 days. Customers can choose from a growing offering of designs submitted to Bucketfeet by a network of designers. The company, which operates three stores, will likely transition to showrooms as it no longer manufactures inventory to simply fill shelves.
