Signet Jewelers names P&G vet new CEO

Signet Jewelers has named Virginia “Gina” Drosos as its new chief executive officer. Ms. Drosos, who is the first female CEO in the company’s history, replaces Mark Light who stepped down due to health issues. Signet has been involved in a class-action lawsuit alleging gender discrimination at its Sterling Jewelers subsidiary.
