Stop & Shop Debuts Savings Station In-Store Digital Coupon Kiosks
December 13, 2024
Stop & Shop is set to debut Savings Station coupon kiosks in all its stores. The rollout is designed to make the store’s digital coupons more accessible to all customers.
The Savings Station will be installed in half of Stop & Shop’s store locations in time for the upcoming holiday season, helping shoppers unlock discounts for their December celebrations, according to a press release. The remaining kiosks will be added to stores following the holiday season, and by January 2025, all 350+ stores will have the coupon kiosks available.
“This rollout marks another change we’re making to remove friction and improve the shopping experience for our customers,” said Roger Wheeler, president of Stop & Shop. “We heard from customers who felt they were missing out on valuable digital coupon savings, and the Savings Station is our response to that feedback. It ensures that our customers can easily access all of our great deals, especially during the holiday season when savings are top of mind.”

The Savings Station allows customers to quickly and easily activate all weekly circular digital coupons and personalized offers. This is a boom for those customers who may not have access to a smartphone, the internet, or a computer. These kiosks are also helpful for those who may not be tech-savvy but still want to get the deep savings offered weekly via Stop & Shop’s digital coupons.
The Savings Station was made simple to utilize. Shoppers scan their GO Rewards loyalty cards or enter their phone numbers to load their digital coupons and activate personal offers based on their shopping history. From the kiosk, customers will receive a printout of the digital coupons loaded to their loyalty cards. Savings will be automatically applied at checkout when shoppers scan their cards or enter their phone numbers.
“We salute Stop & Shop for making digital coupons more accessible to everyone including the many seniors and low-income folks who lack internet or smartphone access,” commented Edgar Dworsky of ConsumerWorld.org, an advocate for bridging the digital divide. “Particularly now when many shoppers’ budgets are stretched, these digital money savers could help make a dent in their grocery bill.”
The Savings Station will also include tasty recipe ideas and engaging printable activities to keep kids entertained during shopping trips.
