Seventy-two percent of the founders of technology companies believe workplace diversity is very important to establishing a culture of creativity and innovation, according to a new study by Lawless Research for Techstars and Chase for Business. Very few, however, are hiring workers from diverse backgrounds to create the type of business environments they seek.
