The other shoe falls as footwear imports from China plummet

Seventy percent of the shoes sold in the U.S. are imported from China. The amount of footwear imported from the Asian nation fell 15.7 percent in January as the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak disrupted manufacturing and distribution.
