Toblerone says farewell to Matterhorn logo
March 7, 2023
Toblerone has to drop its Matterhorn logo after its owner said it would shift part of the Swiss chocolate candy’s production to Slovakia. The logo was created in the Swiss city of Berne in 1908. Moving production to Slovakia puts the brand in violation of Switzerland’s “Swissness Act,” requiring products to meet criteria to identify as Swiss-made.
