Toys “R” Us makes use of video cameras in its stores to better understand how people shop in them. Concerns about children’s privacy, however, has led to questions about how the video tech is being used. The retailer has responded that the cameras are used in measure foot traffic and that all data collected is “anonymous” to protect the privacy of all shoppers.
