Walmart in talks to invest in India’s largest e-commerce company

Walmart is in early negotiations with Flipkart, the largest e-commerce company in India, to make a major investment in the startup. If the two companies are able to work out a deal, Walmart would gain a foothold in Southeast Asia while Flipkart would receive needed financial resources to compete with Amazon.com
