Wendy’s Girl Scout Thin Mints Frosty Giveaway: How To Get One

Wendy’s is giving away a small Thin Mints Frosty to customers who make a purchase on the Wendy’s app on Wednesday, March 12 — also known as National Girl Scout Day.

The hotly anticipated frosty is free for one day only, according to USA Today. However, the dessert first appeared on Wendy’s menus on Feb. 21, the same day Girl Scout Cookies were released for public purchase.

“The friendship between Wendy’s and Girl Scouts of the USA is mint to be,” Lindsay Radkoski, Wendy’s marketing executive, said in a press release at the time. “By bringing together two iconic fan favorite flavors into a single spoonful, we’re delivering an exclusive, one-of-a-kind Frosty experience to connect with our Wendy’s fanbase and Girl Scout Cookie supporters alike.”

“Celebrate all of the fun and friendship with the limited-time Frosty inspired by the iconic Girl Scout Cookies,” the company said via a news release shared with USA Today.

To score a free Frosty, customers must download and make an account on the Wendy’s app or online. Then, a purchase must be made at the fast-food restaurant on Wednesday, March 12, to claim the drink.

The dessert has also inspired a game on the chain’s mobile app, where customers can win daily prizes. Each day, customers can play the Thin Mints Frosty Adventure game for the chance to win up to $10,000.

Additionally, Wendy’s revealed that along with the freebie Frosty, the chain will offer a free order of french fries of any size, with a minimum $5 purchase, for St. Patrick’s Day on March 17, per TODAY.

According to Wendy’s official website, its Thin Mints Frosty is available in chocolate and vanilla. Each base is swirled and topped with a rich, minty cookie crumble sauce inspired by the legendary Girl Scout Cookie flavor. Each Frosty clocks in at around 490 calories.

While the Thin Mints Frosty is a limited-time treat, Wendy’s recently announced that more swirled Frosty treats are on the way. The restaurant chain previously confirmed that Frosty Swirls and Fusions are coming.
