Wingstop’s Iconic Ranch Hits the Auction Block — Score a Year’s Worth

March 11, 2025

Wingstop is auctioning off its first-ever bottled ranch product, allowing customers to win a year’s supply of the beloved condiment.

After years of customers asking the company to bottle the beloved sauce, the chain has listened. In honor of National Ranch Day, the brand is auctioning off its first-ever “official” bottle of ranch, with access to a year’s supply of ranch refills, per a press release.

The creamy and satisfying dip is made fresh in restaurants every day and is a fan favorite. It’s so beloved that some customers just can’t do without it, so fans are welcoming the opportunity to have it at home for whenever the craving strikes.

“Wingstop Ranch isn’t just any dip — it’s legendary. We’ve seen ranch fountains go viral and people cater Wingstop ranch at their weddings,” said Chief Revenue Officer Mark Christenson. “But one of the biggest trends we see is fans begging us to bottle and sell our house made ranch. Now, for the first time ever, we’re answering that call.”

How Can Wingstop Fans Enter the Contest?

The exclusive auction listing can be found on eBay, with bidding open until March 14. The highest bidder for the item will secure a year’s worth of ranch refills at their local Wingstop.

In addition, the winner will also receive a certificate of authenticity signed by the company’s head of culinary, Chef Larry Bellah. Best of all, the proceeds from this auction will benefit Wingstop Charities, whose mission is to “amplify the flavor of local communities through service.”

People love the wing chain’s ranch dressing because it is thick, creamy, tangy, and packed with flavor. Here’s why it stands out to customers.

Unlike many fast-food restaurants that use pre-packaged ranch, Wingstop makes its sauce in-house daily, giving it a fresh, homemade taste. It’s thicker and richer than most bottled ranch dressings, making it perfect for dipping wings, fries, and even veggies.

The buttermilk base with the addition of mayo and herbs creates a balanced tangy, garlicky, and slightly peppery flavor. Finally, many fans say the sauce is crave-worthy, often ordering extra cups just to take home.
