Goldman Sachs expects more stores to close

Retail stores are closing in record numbers and a new report by Goldman Sachs doesn’t see the pace of locations being shuttered to ease up. Roughly 11,000 stores have closed so far in 2019, according to Coresight Research. That number should increase to 12,000 by the end of the year.
