Reinmanns family, stakeholders in Krispy Kreme and Panera, make huge donation to holocaust survivors

The Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, an organization that seeks reparations for Holocaust survivors, announced yesterday that the family that controls JAB Holding Company has pledged the equivalent of $5.5 million. It recently came to light that, in Hitler’s Germany, the Reinmanns family used slave labor in its businesses and supported the Nazi regime. JAB Holdings currently owns controlling interest in Krispy Kreme, Panera Bread, Pret A Manger, Peet’s Coffee, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Stumptown Coffee Roasters and Keurig.
