Dick’s Sporting Goods announces CEO succession plan

Edward Stack, who led Dick’s Sporting Goods’ growth from a two-store operation to more than 850 locations around the U.S., will step down as CEO early next year. He will be replaced on Feb. 1 by Lauren Hobart, who currently serves as Dick’s president.
