Chain restaurant operators, including Applebee’s Bar and Grill, Bloomin’ Brands, Brinker International and Denny’s, are opening new restaurants that only exist on third-party delivery apps. Restaurants have seen their financials supported by digital orders which grew by 124 percent for the 12-months ending March 2021, according to NPD Group.
