Borders Seeks OK to Pay $8.3 Million in Bonuses

It might seem a bit ridiculous to pay $8.3 million in bonuses to executives at a company that is imploding as quickly as Borders, but the bookseller said it needs the money to retain key employees. Borders said it has been losing an average of five executives a week since filing for Chapter 11 protection last month.
