Tyson Foods going antibiotic-free

Tyson Foods has followed the lead of rivals such as Perdue and Pilgrim’s Pride as well as foodservice chains Burger King, Chipotle, McDonald’s, Panera Bread, Taco Bell and Wendy’s in pledging to sell chicken raised without the use of antibiotics. The company said its flock would be antibiotic-free by the end of the year.
