Google to pay Apple $3B as default search engine for iOS devices

Google will pay Apple about $3 billion this year to be the default search engine on iOS devices, up from $1 billion three years ago, according to Bernstein analyst A.M. Sacconaghi Jr. Apple contributes roughly half of Google’s mobile search revenues, according to the analyst.
