Retail jobs leave many employees wanting

In recent years, retail jobs have become the primary source of employment for workers on the lower end of the income scale in the U.S. Only one in 12 retail associates were employed full-time, made at least $15 an hour and offered health insurance and other paid benefits, according to a survey by the Center for Popular Democracy.
