Public perceptions of Walmart and Dick’s jump following gun restrictions

A new consumer survey fielded by YouGov BrandIndex that indicates respondents’ positive or negative impression of a brand registered a sizable bump up for Walmart and Dick’s Sporting goods in the days after the companies announced that they are tightening up their gun sales policies. On a scale of -100 (worst possible impression) to +100 (totally positive), Walmart’s score climbed from 13 to 20. Dick’s score jumped from 2 to 18.
