Foot Locker invests in online sneaker marketplace

Foot Locker is investing $100 million in GOAT Group, operators of an online marketplace for rare and high-end athletic shoes. Through combined efforts, Foot Locker hopes to heighten its expertise in digital commerce and better understand marketing to sneakerheads, whereas GOAT says the company will use the capital to broaden its omnichannel and global reach.
