Amazon plans to cut 10K workers

Amazon.com plans to lay off around 10,000 people, about one percent of its global workforce, cutting from its devices and retail divisions as well as human resources. The company saw its head count shrink by almost 80,000 people between April and September primarily due to hourly worker attrition.
