Bed Bath & Beyond raises outlook

Shares of Bed Bath & Beyond jumped more than 20 percent in after-hours trading after the home furnishings retailer announced that earnings per share for 2019 would be in line with this year. Analysts were expecting the chain, which reported a decline of same-store sales in its fiscal third quarter, to post lower earnings per share next year.
