Dollar General’s profit forecast disappoints Wall Street

Dollar General forecast fiscal 2019 earnings of between $6.30 and $6.50 a share, below the $6.65 estimate from Refinitiv. The dollar store operator, which posted a same-store sales gain of four percent in the most recent quarter, above the 2.6 percent consensus, saw its share price drop six percent.
