J.Crew has been in talks with lenders for several weeks as the company prepares to file for bankruptcy protection. A court filing could happen as early as this weekend for J.Crew, which made the decision to cancel an initial public offering for its Madewell business as the coronavirus outbreak spread across the U.S.
