Layoffs add new pool of skilled tech workers to job market

HR cutbacks by major companies including Amazon.com, Meta, Twitter and Salesforce have added thousand of highly-qualified technology workers to the U.S. job pool. About 37 percent of laid-off workers found a new job within a month and 79 percent gained employment within three months.
