Legal marijuana sales are on the ballot today
November 8, 2016
Five states — Arizona, California, Maine, Nevada and Massachusetts — have measures on their ballots that would make the sale of recreational marijuana legal. Three other states — Arkansas, Florida and North Dakota — will vote on making the drug legal for medical purposes. In one other state – Montana – voters will decide whether or not to force the government to live up to passage of a 2004 bill that makes medical marijuana legal but was later undermined by legislative action.
