UPS strike could disrupt e-comm fulfillment
June 6, 2023
UPS’s 350,000 unionized workers could strike if the parcel delivery giant cannot reach a deal on a new labor contract. The company’s unionized staff is represented by the Teamsters, which is looking to get something back after agreeing to a 2018 deal that many members saw as insufficient. UPS has posted annual profits over the past two years that are nearly three times what it earned before the pandemic.
