Everlane has a employee relations problem
January 7, 2020
Everlane markets its “radical transparency” regarding how its products are sourced throughout the supply chain. Customer service and retail employees of the company, however, say that openness doesn’t apply to them with many complaining about wages and working conditions at the company. Employees who have spoken up about their concerns claim to have received hostile treatment in response. Everlane CEO Michael Presyman has acknowledged in an internal email that the company has “lost sight of building strong connections across our various teams” as it has grown.
