Forty-nine percent of Americans who typically shop on Black Friday say they will skip their annual tradition this year, according to Morning Consult. Of those who plan to shop that day, 14 percent are going to stores and 41 percent will buy what they need online. Many of those skipping Black Friday are planning to shop on Cyber Monday, a sales trend that has grown in recent years.
