Target Hacked, Data From 40 Million Cards Compromised

In the second biggest data breach of a retailer on record, Target revealed that information from about 40 million credit and debit cards was stolen between November 27 and December 15. Sources report that nearly all Target locations were hacked as thieves somehow gained access to data via point-of-sale software.
