Apple announced that it will invest $200 million of its new Advanced Manufacturing Fund in a Harrodsburg, KY plant operated by Corning, the maker of Gorilla Glass. Corning, a longtime supplier to Apple, is the first recipient of an investment for the tech giant’s new fund, which has earmarked $1 billion to invest in U.S.-based companies.
