L.L. Bean to make more duck boots

L.L. Bean unveiled a new injection molding machine at its manufacturing facility in Lewiston, ME that will enable the company to produce one million of its popular duck boots by next year. The retailer, which sold 600,000 pairs of the boots last year, experienced order backlogs in 2015 and 2016 as it could not keep up with consumer demand for the boots.
