Mills Fleet Farm looks to grow under new ownership

Mills Fleet Farm plans to double its store count over the next five years from its current 37 locations. The chain was acquired by KKR in January for a reported price of $1.2 billion. The newest stores in the chain average about 145,000-square-feet, smaller than the existing 200,000-square-foot stores it currently operates.
