Sporting goods retailer finds tough go competing with vendors

Luke’s Locker is temporarily closing five of the eight stores it operates in Texas. The retailer said the move was made necessary as it took some hits from online competition and vendors such as Nike and Under Armour who have opened their own stores. The retailer expects to reopen its closed stores in two to three weeks.
